We're down to our last weekend in May, and there's just a single bombshell of a series new to Netflix this Weekend. It's going to eat up your entire weekend, so stock up on popcorn and be sure to keep a pint of ice cream in the fridge. You're going to need it. There's just one show to watch this weekend, but it's all the shows you're going to need for the next couple of days.

The usual disclaimer: Netflix may still shadow drop a show we don't know about this weekend, so please be easy on us in case that happens. All of the information we're sharing with you is still accurate as of May 26, 6:00 PM Eastern.

New to Netflix this Weekend (May 27-29)

May 27

  • Stranger Things 4: Volume 1 – Netflix's hit series returns this month towards the end of May with yet another volume of the strange, funny, heartwarming, and horrifying. Netflix's Stranger Things 4: Volume 1 has episodes that last as long as some films, so be sure you have cleared your entire schedule this weekend if you're planning to binge-watch this season. So far, the new season has received rave reviews from critics, so it's definitely worth putting everything on pause for this show.

May 28 – No, nothing new today. All you have is Stranger Things.

May 29 – In any case, you will have your hands filled with just Stranger Things, anyway, and everyone else has tried to avoid this release weekend so they won't have to compete with Stranger Things.

Bonus: Okay, we hear you. What if you don't want to watch Stranger Things, right? Okay, we'll include the new shows from today so that you have more options in your entertainment on Netflix this Weekend:

May 26

  • My Little Pony: Make Your Mark
  • Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series: Part 3 – Ash continues his journey in the long-running Japanese anime series. This time around, Ash and Pikachu return to Alola Island with Goh where they introduce him to Z-Moves.
