One of the most exciting quarterback prospects in this entire class is finally off the board. The Tennessee Titans have selected Liberty star Malik Willis with the 86th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft on Thursday after a fantastic senior season with the Flames.

Willis is arguably the most athletic playmaker in this entire draft, possessing not only a big arm but also superior quickness on the ground. The Auburn transfer completed 207 of his 339 passing attempts in 2021 for a mind-boggling 2,857 yards and 27 touchdowns for Liberty. The dual-threat QB also rushed for 878 yards and 13 TDs. He was always considered one of the better signal-callers in the NFL Draft because of his versatile skillset.

Willis impressed heavily at the combine as well. While he didn't run a 40-yard dash, it's common knowledge just how fast he really is. When it came to his QB work, he connected on several deep bombs and slants with receivers. Perhaps the best moment for Willis in Indianapolis though was being caught on camera giving money to a homeless man. It showed just how great of a human being he really is.

Of course, talent is extremely important, but before the NFL Draft, scouts really make a point of getting to know a player on a personal level to understand what their personality is like. Malik Willis is not only a hard worker but also a great teammate. That's a recipe for success.

Best of luck to him in his rookie year.
