NFL free agent Jordy Nelson is receiving interest from at least five teams, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN and one of those teams is the Oakland Raiders, the team that just released him.

According to Schefter, Nelson has a meeting set up with the Seattle Seahawks for Tuesday and the New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Raiders also all have interest.

After paying Nelson's roster bonus the Raiders released him saving $3.5 million in cap space. This seems to mean they still have interest but didn't want to pay him the full salary he was due. After being one of the best receivers in Green Bay Packers history Nelson spent last year with the Raiders and although he didn't get a ton of attention it was still a solid season. He caught 63 passes for 739 yards and three touchdowns.

Right now it appears that the Seahawks are front runners after missing out on signing him last year. Schneider was in the Packers front office when the team drafted Nelson in 2008. Doug Baldwin and Tyler Lockett top out the top of the Seahawks depth chart but after that, the production really falls off. Nelson could be another veteran target that Russell Wilson could count on.

If the Seahawks and Nelson can't get a deal done look for Nelson to take other visits but at this point, it would seem a bit surprising if the two couldn't get a deal done. Look for this story to heat up more in the next few days.
