After being out in the market for several months, free-agent defensive back Logan Ryan may find a new home soon. He recently signed with influential sports agent Joel Segal who also manages NFL stars in Khalil Mack of the Chicago Bears and Christian McCaffrey of the Carolina Panthers, among others. The new partnership will be vital for Ryan's bid to land a new contract in the coming days.

NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported the developments on Twitter:

The Rutgers product was a huge piece for the New England Patriots for four seasons from 2013 to 2017. He also earned rings from the team's victories in Super Bowl XLI and LI in the 2014 and 2016 season, respectively.

Logan Ryan moved on and went to the Tennesee Titans where he signed a three-year, $30 million contract back in 2017. He was a key contributor to the team all throughout his three-year stint. He played his last game with the Titans against his former Patriots team in the first round of the 2019 NFL Playoffs. The Tennesee-based team wielded an upset ax to the Patriots, 20-13, which also ended quarterback Tom Brady's two-decade stay in Foxborough.

Ryan saw a bump in his individual numbers during his last stint with the Titans last season. He tallied career-high numbers in assist tackles with 40, combined tackles with 113, sacks with 4.5, pass deflections with 18, and forced fumbles with 4 through 16 games played.

The 29-year old veteran is more than capable to produce at a high level for any team that will take a chance on him. With Segal on his side, it is likely that football fans will see Ryan back on the gridiron with a new team come Week 1.
