Terrell Owens was recently inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame after an amazing career. He put up big numbers in multiple cities and was one of the most entertaining players that the league has seen in years. Since his retirement, Owens has periodically chipped in with his opinions on things that are going on in the league.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Owens weighed in with his opinion on Dez Bryant's situation. He sees a much more dire situation than the former Dallas Cowboys' receiver is seeing.

“Get on a roster, no matter what the money is—if it's a one-year deal, two-year deal, whatever the case may be—and show everybody what you're made of.”

He also stated that if Bryant does not sign with an NFL team this season, then his career could be over.

Moving forward, Owens also talked about whether the Cowboys should consider bringing Bryant back.

“Absolutely. I think that would be—actually, I don't know whether the relationship is fractured since they released him or what have you. I think for Dez, if the Cowboys welcome him back and he gets an opportunity, then that bodes well for Dez and the franchise itself.”

Bryant has been called “washed up” among other things this offseason. He certainly did not play like a washed up player in 2017 with the Cowboys, catching 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns. Those numbers are not bad at all and quite a few teams could use that kind of production.

Over the past couple months, Bryant has received interest from multiple teams. The Baltimore Ravens were the most interested team in the offseason, while the Cleveland Browns were also talked about as a potential landing spot for the veteran receiver.

Expect to hear more about Bryant as the season continues forward. He doesn't appear to be in a hurry to sign a contract, but Owens' advice might very well be the best advice he has received to this point.
