After placing Terrelle Pryor on injured reserve on Saturday, the Jacksonville Jaguars have come to an injury settlement, and he is now officially a free agent.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Pryor was dealing with a minor hamstring ailment with the Jaguars, but he is healthy enough to play now.
It's unclear at this point if any teams have interest in Pryor following the Jaguars releasing him, but if they do they will now be able to sign him to their team.
Pryor has had an interesting path to the NFL, and it has been a roller coaster since then. Pryor was accused of selling memorabilia while at college which cut his time at Ohio State short. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders through the supplemental draft to play quarterback. He was the team's starter in 2013, but in 2014 he didn't play at all and decided a switch to wide receiver is what he needed to continue his career.
During the 2016 season, Pryor had an outstanding year catching 77 for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns for the Cleveland Browns.
Since that point, he hasn't had much production and bounced around from team to team. Last season with the Buffalo Bills he only appeared in two games catching only two passes for 17 yards.
Hopefully, Pryor can catch on with a team that needs depth at wide receiver. If this is the end of the road for Pryor in the NFL, this was one of the most interesting careers to follow, and he will always have that one big year to look at one for his breakout moment in the league.
