Two of the brightest stars in the league, playing the most glamorous position in the sport faced off Sunday. After a duel between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes couldn't help but show respect for one another after the game.

With Jackson running in for a score and Mahomes throwing for three, one would assume this would be the first classic of many between the two teams. With this being one of the most hyped matchups of the week, it did not disappoint with Kansas City prevailing 33-28 and Jackson giving the Ravens a late push, eventually not being enough.

As the Chiefs move to 3-0 and the Ravens to 2-1, Jackson himself moves to an impressive 8-2 in the regular season with his two losses being in Kansas City.

As the season moves forward, one can only hope that these teams meet in the playoffs so we can be treated to another classic.
