The San Francisco 49ers have appeared to figured it out as of late. So much so, in fact, running back Carlos Hyde says the Niners are Super Bowl bound next season.

It appears Handsome Jimmy G hysteria is sweeping the nation.

Anyway…

“Minus our record, we’re a really good football team. Next year we’re going to win the Super Bowl,” Hyde said, via Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group. “I feel we've got a chance to go the Super Bowl next year and I don't want to go to another team.”

Carlos Hyde is actually set to be a free agent this offseason.

The 49ers won for the fourth time in as many weeks when they beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. A large reason for this sudden change of fortune appears to be new QB Jimmy Garoppolo, who has legitimately looked the part since being inserted in the starting lineup.

Furthermore, with Handsome Jimmy G manning the helm, the once thought to be “eh” roster now appears to be far better than that, bordering on flourishing.

It is hard to avoid getting hyperbolic after the last four weeks, but there is reason for optimism in San Fran. Do people inside that area call it “San Fran” or is this something us East Coast wackos say, but is considered loathsome from people who live there?
