Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones continues to miss time as he is listed as unavailable for their Week 5 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He continues to deal with a sustained hamstring injury that forced him to miss the second half of their Week 4 game against the Green Bay Packers.

The Falcons eventually suffered a 30-16 beating from the home team Packers with Jones prematurely leaving the game. Atlanta's quarterback in Matt Ryan was forced to look for other options who can contribute for the team on the offensive end.

Running back Todd Gurley stepped up with 57 rushing yards on 16 carries and had two scored rushing touchdowns for the Falcons. Wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus added 86 receiving yards on eight receptions of his own, while tight end Hayden Hurst generated 51 yards on four touches.

The seven-time Pro Bowler's absence was clearly felt by the team as they failed to keep up and only scored almost half as many points as the dangerous Packers offense did. The Falcons desperately need their top receiver back at the helm as soon as possible. They have now dropped to four losses and have yet to win their first game of the season.

They currently find themselves settling in the cellar-dwelling spot in the stacked NFC South division. Despite the record, the Atlanta-based squad will still find ways to score a victory against a division rival in the Panthers who are currently holding an even 2-2 record.

There is still no final word on the timetable for Jones' return on the gridiron.
