The Chicago Bears appear primed for yet another successful season to come in 2019, thanks in part to the team's intriguing offensive attack. With the tandem of Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard manning the backfield for the Bears at the moment, reports are currently indicating that the latter running back could be on the move via trade before this offseason comes to a close.

With the possibility of Howard being traded more prevalent than ever, the Bears are now interested in possibly adding New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram, who is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. According to a recent report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Bears are interested in Ingram at this time.

The Bears could use another wideout while pairing Ingram with Cohen wouldn't hurt either. It is entirely possible that the Bears add both a running back and wide receiver this offseason as up-and-coming quarterback Mitchell Trubisky could use all the help he can get going forward. With the Bears returning to the postseason in 2018-19, it does not seem as though Chicago will be letting up anytime soon.

It is also worth noting that Chicago's arch-rival, the always dangerous Green Bay Packers, also have interest in Ingram's services, so says the aforementioned Rapoport. It should also be mentioned that a reunion in New Orleans shouldn't totally be ruled out as Ingram and Alvin Kamara did wonders for the Saints' offense over the course of the last two seasons. However, Kamara's presence may also lead to Ingram's eventual exit from New Orleans.
