Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson was forced to exit Monday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams after the 27-year-old hit his head on the turf face-first. He was unable to return to the game, and it is now being reported that the one-time Pro-Bowler may have suffered a concussion from the play.

Robinson was actually having a good game, with the star WR catching all four of his targets for 70 yards. He exited the game in the fourth quarter with the head injury, and was unable to close out the contest. In the end, the Bears fell to the Rams, 24-10.
Article Continues BelowIt is worth noting that Robinson is in the midst of contract talks with the Bears. Hopefully for him, this injury does not keep him out for a significant period, and that it will not have any impact on his impending extension.
Head injuries can be tricky, though, and if he is indeed diagnosed with a concussion, he will need to undergo the league's concussion protocol. This could result in a few missed games for the star WR, which will serve as a significant blow for the Bears.
Monday's loss was Chicago's first defeat in three games, as they now stand at 5-2. They will be back in action on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints, and it goes without saying that they are still holding out hope that Robinson will be available to play for that one.
