The Chicago Bears and quarterback Mitchell Trubisky came up just shy of defeating the arch rival Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon. However, the playoff-bound Packers were able to take care of business at home en route to edging the Bears by the score of 21-13.

While typically the scapegoat for the Bears, it was actually Trubisky who tossed around the blame after his team's latest loss. Upon speaking to reporters after the Week 15 NFC North clash, Trubisky sort of threw head coach Matt Nagy and the rest of the Bears coaching staff under the bus.

“I felt like they were pretty good,” Trubisky said, via Rich Campbell of Chicago Tribune. “They had a really good front. I felt like our O-line played really well. I thought we could’ve taken more pressure off them moving the pocket a little more and me getting out. But yeah, they’ve done a great job of that all year long, and that’s what they hang their hat on. They did that today. We’ve just got to continue to find ways to take pressure off our O-line. With a good pass rush like that, continue to mix it up, whether it’s with screens, running it, draws — all that kind of stuff helps. But yeah, credit to them. They’re a good defense.”

Thanks to the team's narrow loss on the road to the rival Packers, the defending NFC North Champion Bears now remain very unlikely to return to the postseason in 2019-20. Entering Week 16, the Bears will be sporting an even 7-7 record on the year.
