Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears have been one of the biggest surprises in the NFL this season. After being a mediocre team at best over the past few seasons, the Bears are currently the best team in the NFC North division. Not only are they leading the NFC North, they are looking like a serious force to be reckoned with in the conference as a whole.

On Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions, the Bears were forced to start Chase Daniel at quarterback due to Trubisky dealing with injury issues. Chicago was able to get a big win, but they may be without their starting quarterback once again next week.

According to a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN, Trubisky is in danger of missing the Bears' Week 13 matchup against the New York Giants as well.

Trubisky has come through with a big season for the Bears. After dealing with fan frustration last season and some rookie struggles, the Bears without question have their franchise quarterback.

In the 10 games that he has played for the Bears this season, Trubisky has completed 65.4 percent of his pass attempts for 2,469 yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine interceptions.

Chicago may not be able to compete with the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints this season, but even if they can't, Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy are building things the right way.

On the other hand, the Bears believe that they can beat anyone. They are not scared of the Rams or Saints. Come playoff time, the Bears are going to be a team that no one wants to face.

Expect to see Trubisky continue playing at a high level throughout the remainder of the season. The injury trouble he is dealing with is disappointing, but it is nothing that will hold him back down the stretch of the season and into the playoffs.
