Joe Burrow blossomed into a star in the postseason, bringing the Cincinnati Bengals to the Super Bowl for the first time in over 30 years. However, in the final game, the team faltered when it mattered most, bowing to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56. It was a sad end to a Cinderella run by this team.

After the loss, Joe Burrow (an Ohio native) took to Twitter to express his thoughts after the game. The Bengals quarterback apologized to fans for a disappointing end and said he's proud of this team.

“Sorry we couldn’t get it done. Proud of our team and our fans. Love these guys”

Despite the heartbreaking loss, there's plenty to be proud about this Bengals roster. Most pundits expected this to be year two of a potentially long rebuild. Instead, Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and the rest of the team took control of the AFC North, winning the division and a home game in the playoffs.

The magic didn't stop there for Cincinnati. After a tense game against the Las Vegas Raiders in the Wild Card Round, Cincy shocked the Tennessee faithful by eliminating the Titans. Then, they pulled out another crazy upset, upending the dynasty that is the Kansas City Chiefs to win the AFC and make it to the Super Bowl.

However, in the playoffs, Joe Burrow and the Bengals weren't able to get it done. They were unable to hold on to a seven-point lead they had in the second hand, handing the Rams their first championship in Los Angeles behind Cooper Kupp's MVP-level performance.
