Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has all the opinions in the world. His latest is in regard to running back Ezekiel Elliott and how the National Football League has handled the entire will he/won't he actually end up being suspended saga.

“Jerry Jones tells The Fan the NFL has been feeling it’s way along in these suspension matters and missed it with Ezekiel Elliott,” reported Mark Lane. “Jones [says] ‘he wouldn’t dare speculate’ on the next step in Ezekiel Elliott’s legal process relative to his suspension.”

This coming from a guy who tricked several players to kneel before the national anthem so he could both grab the spotlight and avoid any potential backlash for those who love the flag is if the flag had human emotions.

Anyway, if Elliott was an awful running back, Jones probably wouldn't be out here talking about the wrongs of this process.

“Jerry Jones tells The Fan for whatever the reason, yes, Ezekiel Elliott had more burst against the 49ers,” Lane added.

This is a good time to mention that just because a person owns an NFL franchise, it does not inherently make that someone smarter, more educated, or wiser than anyone walking the planet.

No matter your feelings about the Cowboys, Jerry Jones, or the entire Elliott debacle, this is even more iffy press for a league that continues to insert itself in the mud.

Good thing the sport doesn't have inherent violence built into its foundation that could seriously hurt people or anything.

Oh… wait.
