The Denver Broncos have officially placed star cornerback Chris Harris Jr. on injured reserve after he suffered a fractured fibula in the team's Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
There was speculation that Harris would try to return to the field this season, but after such a significant injury, it seemed unlikely that would actually happen.
And now, Harris has hit injured reserve, according to Ryan O'Halloran of the Denver Post.

Harris posted 49 combined tackles and three interceptions this season in helping the Broncos stay in the playoff race prior to his injury.
