Broncos general manager John Elway didn't exactly rule out the possibility of speaking to Brady this offseason, but that he is happy with Drew Lock under center, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic.
While adding Brady may be tantalizing, it's probably not the best route for Denver to take at this stage.
The Broncos are clearly in rebuilding mode and are obviously not ready to win right now, even if Brady would likely improve the club.
Also, Denver seems pretty committed to Lock, whom the club drafted in the second round last spring.
Lock, who played his collegiate football at the University of Missouri, was expected to compete for playing time right off the bat, but a preseason thumb injury shelved him for most of the regular season.

The Broncos also seemed to rally around Lock, as they went 4-1 in his starts to finish with a record of 7-9 on the year.
Denver has been in desperate need of a quarterback ever since Peyton Manning retired following the Broncos' Super Bowl win during the 2015-16 campaign, and it finally appears to have found its signal-caller of the future in Lock.
It seems hard to imagine the Broncos moving away from Lock after handing him the reins under center this past season, even for Brady.
