The Detroit Lions came up short against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13. It appears quarterback Matthew Stafford left the game a bit shaken up as well.
Stafford has practiced in limited fashion all week due to a back injury. According to Kyle Meinke of MLive.com, he is questionable for Sunday's tilt versus the Arizona Cardinals.

The update should come as no surprise. Stafford took quite a beating from defensive tackle Aaron Donald last week. It is clear that the multiple hits h took had some lasting effects.
Fortunately, Stafford has established a reputation for being as durable as they come. He is indeed no stranger to playing through injury. He has started the last 124 consecutive games for the Lions which is the sixth-longest streak in NFL history. It should also be noted that he has been sacked more times than any other quarterback over the last two years. The fact that he has been able to participate in limited fashion could be a sign that he is expecting to suit up.
Although Stafford has maintained his status as an NFL ironman, he has not followed through on his reputation as a stat-buster in the 2018 campaign. The veteran is in the midst of perhaps his worst year yet. He has thrown for 3,086 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions entering the final stretch of the season. He will potentially have a chance to end things on a high note with a matchup against the lackluster Cardinals.
