Even though the Green Bay Packers reached the NFC Championship Game a season ago, longtime NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers still believes that the heralded NFC North franchise is still “flying under the radar” heading into the 2020 campaign.

Rodgers and the Packers will take on the rival Minnesota Vikings in Week 1 of the 2020 regular season on Sunday afternoon.

“You know what, I don’t know about our squad,” Rodgers said on Wednesday, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN. “I think the beauty is there’s a lot of conversation about other teams, whether it’s Tom and Tampa, or the teams that were really solid last year, New Orleans, San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, Dallas with Mike and what they’ve done to their roster. I like where we’re at as far as kind of flying under the radar, even though we went 13-3 last year. We’ve got a chance to prove what kind of team we are to start the season out on Sunday, and I look forward to the opportunity.”

The Packers will once again enter the regular season as the favorites to come out the NFC North as the aforementioned Vikings currently appear to be the biggest threat to Green Bay. Both the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions could surprise some en route to competing in their division, though neither team will be carrying much promise into the looming campaign.

Rodgers has led the Packers to only one Super Bowl title over the years, though Green Bay could very well win another title in 2020-21.
