The NFL Trade Deadline is right around the corner! The Green Bay Packers have until Nov. 2 to complete any trades they feel are needed to improve.
Not every team needs to make a trade ahead of the deadline. The Packers could feel that way with how they are playing. Although, they are dealing with injuries to a few positions and that could hurt them later in the season. It's worth exploring options to possibly bring in one or multiple players for a position in need.
The Packers are fresh off a huge victory Thursday night over the Arizona Cardinals. Green Bay is on a seven-game winning streak and it doesn't seem like they are slowing down any time soon. Despite their success, the Packers could get even better if they traded for an elite cornerback to help them in the secondary.
Packers' biggest need heading into NFL Trade Deadline
Cornerback
The Packers need help in the secondary. However, so far this season they are actually doing a solid job against opposing receivers. The cornerback position hasn't allowed more than one touchdown a game to opposing receivers since Week 1. They are doing enough to stay in games but sooner or later teams are going to find success.
Top corner Jaire Alexander could miss most of the season with a sprained AC joint. That is a huge hole to fill but since the injury in Week 3, the secondary has found ways to get the job done. Rookie Eric Stokes, Isaac Yiadom, and Chandon Sullivan are the only corners to play all eight games this year. They are thin at the position and bringing in one or two players could help them come playoffs.

The Eagles are not in a great position to compete this season. Slay has two years left on his contract so the Eagles could be hesitant to let him go. However, Slay would be a great addition to the Packers' secondary where he would defend the opponent's top receiver.
Desmond King, Houston Texans
King is one of the top slot corners in the NFL. The Texans are more than likely going to be sellers at the NFL Trade Deadline. King should be available for trade and he would fill a big need for the Packers.
Vernon Hargreaves III, Houston Texans
King's teammate may also be available. Hargreaves is a free agent at the end of the season so it likely wouldn't cost much to bring him in.
