Fans who saw the 2019 season unfold knew that Odell Beckham wouldn't last long with the Cleveland Browns. However, no one in their right mind even considered the possibility of Beckham heading over to the Green Bay Packers.

It's quite surprising that Beckham is a ringing favorite for this, but the fact that these rumors persist connotes a possibility of it happening. Moreover, a team like the Packers could always use a talented wide receiver like Beckham on their roster. There's nothing that would make Aaron Rodgers happier than to have outstanding wide receivers ready to catch his passes.

However, is OBJ really the man the Packers need to acquire? This is the question plenty of Packers fans will be asking as these rumors continue to circulate around their team. This article will try to figure out if there's even any reason to look into getting Beckham from the Browns.

The first thing the Packers will have to consider is their performance in the recently concluded playoffs. They managed to reach the NFC Championship in 2019, but they fell short to the San Francisco 49ers' defense. The defeat could easily necessitate a trade for OBJ.

Their performance against the 49ers, along with his continued performance over the last few years, showed that they do have a star wideout in Davante Adams. While he didn't net a touchdown against the 49ers, he covered 138 receiving yards. If OBJ was running routes for the Packers, it would definitely make Rodgers and Adams' jobs easier.

Moreover, Beckham would have the privilege of playing with one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Aaron Rodgers still has it at 36, and things won't likely change for a few more years. Beckham has been longing to play with a capable quarterback, and his season with Baker Mayfield was far from productive. Rodgers may be the quarterback he needs to finally use his talents and take him to the Super Bowl.

However, there are problems with the thought of getting Beckham on the team. One of the biggest concerns is the fact that Beckham has character concerns off the field. His antics were on full display in Cleveland.

Beckham has the personality of a diva. His antics may not thrive in a place like Green Bay, and he would have to make a lot of adjustments. It's hard to think that OBJ will be able to do that in one offseason.

There are a couple of reasons why the Packers should and should not trade for Beckham. However, what they get if they do trade for him is a dynamic wide receiver who can make ridiculous catches and maybe help take the Packers to the Super Bowl.
