Many agree that Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers deserves his NFL MVP trophy this season. Many, but not all.

In fact, Rodgers was just a single vote shy from being a unanimous winner. Among the 50 voters, one person didn't pick the Packers quarterback. On Tuesday, as reported by Pro Football Talk, veteran analyst Hub Arkush admitted that he was about that life.

Instead of Rodgers, Arkush, the editor and general manager of Chicago Football, voted for Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp. Now, with the way Kupp balled out in the title game against the Cincinnati Bengals to win as MVP of Super Bowl LVI, Arkush must be feeling pretty good about himself.

The report of Pro Football Talk also recalled the spat between Rodgers and Arkush, which many Packers fans have been following.

In early January, Arkush called Rodgers “the biggest jerk in the league” and a “bad guy” in expressing an intention to not vote for Rodgers. The Packers quarterback responded by calling Arkush an “absolute bum,” arguing that Arkush’s position was driven solely by the fact that Rodgers wasn’t vaccinated.

Arkush won't be getting hugs from fans of the Packers any time soon after staying true to his word to not vote for Rodgers. He might be feeling vindicated right now after Kupp's impressive run, but make no mistake that the now four-time NFL MVP will make sure to shush Arkush.
