The NFL is currently investigating Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers for potential COVID-19 violations in the wake of the public revelation that Rodgers is unvaccinated. One specific incident being looked at is a Halloween party Rodgers attended with Packers teammates, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapaport and ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Packers quarterback dressed as John Wick for Halloween and was photographed maskless at the party with several teammates. Rapaport notes why that's an issue:
Under the NFL-NFLPA protocols, unvaccinated players are barred from a variety of activities, including gathering outside the club facility in groups of more than three and going to an indoor nightclub or bar. The standard fine is $14,650 for first-time offenders, with repeat violations subjecting players to increased discipline, including for conduct detrimental with a maximum fine of one week's salary and/or a suspension without pay for up to four weeks.

While Rodgers isn't facing a suspension, he could very well be fined for his actions. The Packers could also get hit with fines.
Rodgers isn't playing in Sunday's Week 9 tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs because of a positive COVID-19 test. He's not eligible to return until the Saturday right before Green Bay's Week 10 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
The fact that Rodgers is unvaccinated caused a stir because people thought he had been vaccinated based on comments he made about being “immunized” before the season. The situation then got especially wild when Rodgers went on The Pat McAfee Show during the week and ranted and raved about COVID, the vaccines and more.
