The Green Bay Packers could be getting a key piece of their offensive line and one of Aaron Rodgers' best protectors back in December. Per the NFL Network, David Bakhtiari just had a procedure to clean up his knee after surgery in January and the team expects him to return not too long down the road:

The Packers' All-Pro LT has already been deemed unavailable by Matt LaFleur for this week's game against the Los Angeles Rams. He was activated off IR in early November but hasn't been practicing lately because the knee was evidently still bothering him.

Bakhtiari tore his ACL last December, which was a huge blow to Green Bay because he has been one of their most consistent tackles over the last eight seasons, making the Pro Bowl in 2019 and 20.Unfortunately, the Packers just lost another key offensive lineman in Elgton Jenkins, who is expected to miss the rest of the season.

The Packers will be looking to bounce back on Sunday from a heartbreaking 34-31 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. The team then has a bye next weekend and, hopefully, Bakhtiari can return to the fold by then and give Rodgers some more protection in the pocket.
