The Green Bay Packers have clinched the top seed of the NFC and are well on their way to the playoffs. This team has looked solid throughout the season and aims to make a deep run. However, rumors swirled on Friday claiming Aaron Rodgers plans to boycott Super Bowl 56 if his team were to advance to the big game.

It was a wild rumor that originally transpired from Boomer Esiason. He made the bold claim that someone within Aaron Rodgers' camp had told him the Packers' quarterback plans to boycott the Super Bowl over the NFL's COVID-19 guidelines.

It was completely far-fetched and didn't make any sense, especially since the Packers already have home-field advantage locked up. Why would a superstar quarterback lead his team to the Super Bowl just to boycott it completely over COVID-19 guidelines? Well, Aaron Rodgers himself took to Twitter to reveal his thoughts on these supposed rumors.

In his response, Rodgers can't do anything but laugh at the idea he told teammate Jordan love “to be ready.” The Packers star also decides to create a few boycott hashtags of his own over these ludacris accusations.

Say what you want about Aaron Rodgers and his vaccine beliefs, but the thought of him not participating in the Super Bowl in an attempt to send a message to the league is asinine. The Green Bay Packers are arguably the best team in the NFL right now and Rodgers has a legitimate shot at winning another Super Bowl ring.

We'll see how the postseason plays out, but if the Packers make it to Super Bowl 56, we should expect to see Aaron Rodgers play.
