Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers visited with social media influencer Ashley Stock's two sons after their sister died from a rare brain cancer.

Stock posted four pictures on Instagram with her two boys with Rodgers and included the caption, “He showed up, completely present, authentically engaged, heart and arms wide open because he knew he could add light to this difficult season of their life. #goodhuman.”

Rodgers has been active in the community during his time in the NFL and with the Packers, so it's not surprising that he felt it was important to be there for Stock's kids.

Just a month after being diagnosed with the rare cancer, Stock's daughter passed away, something else Stock had also announced on Instagram.

“For now, I’m overwhelmed with relief that she’s at peace but I’m also feeling crushed by a pain so intense I can’t put it into words … I let it out a bit at a time, like when you gently twist the lid off a liter soda bottle … releasing the built up pressure a little at a time to keep it from exploding all over the place. I guess it’s like that. I’m twisting the lid on my grief gently. Because if I release it all at once, I don’t see how I could possibly survive.”

Only a few weeks removed from that tragedy, the family is still feeling the pain of the loss. But Rodgers keeping the kids' mind off of it for even a little bit of time was a touching moment for the Packers quarterback.
