Bruce Arians was a name that immediately came up as a potential candidate to be the next head coach of the Green Bay Packers. After the team decided to part ways with Mike McCarthy, there were a lot of names mentioned as potential candidates to become their next head coach.

Unfortunately for the Packers, even though Arians might be a perfect fit for the Packers, he isn't interested.

According to a report from Pro Football Talk via an interview with Arians by Zach Gelb of CBS Sports Radio, Arians stated that he had no interest in the Packers' coaching job.

“No, not at all. If I ever return to coaching it will only be in Cleveland.”

He did admit that the Packers' job was a good one, but reiterated that he had no interest in coaching there.

“Yeah, it is,” Arians said. “I have no desire to coach in Green Bay.”

Despite the fact that Arians has already taken his name out of the running, there are still plenty of coaches that would be nice fits for the Packers. Josh McDaniels seems to be the front-runner to many people, while others think that names like John Harbaugh or even Jim Harbaugh could make sense.

Regardless of what the Packers end up doing, they cannot afford to make a mistake with this situation. They will need to bring in a coach that can turn Green Bay into a Super Bowl contender. More importantly, they will need a coach that can get Aaron Rodgers and the Packers' offense back on track.

Expect to hear plenty of rumors and reports about potential candidates that the Packers are considering. This is going to be a high-profile coaching search and it isn't going to end anytime soon.
