Chicago Bears reporter Hub Arkush made waves when he announced Tuesday that Green Bay Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers wouldn't receive his vote for NFL MVP because the veteran signal-caller is “a bad guy.” After backlash on social media, Arkush appeared on a radio show and made a big admission on his shocking Rodgers MVP comments.

Bears reporter Hub Arkush said that he “made a big mistake' by revealing his thought process on the NFL MVP voting. Arkush probably should have kept his opinions on Packers star Aaron Rodgers' to himself, as all he should care about as an NFL MVP voter is the on-field product.

As negligent as some may believe the Packers quarterback to be, Rodgers' MVP candidacy cannot be denied. He has thrown for nearly 4,000 passing yards and owns an incredible 35 touchdowns to just four interceptions. Oh, and he's beaten the Bears twice this season, likely something that's been on Arkush's mind.

For his part, Arkush said that he won't be speaking about the NFL MVP voting process anymore. That's probably for the best, as the Bears writer certainly didn't do himself any favors with his announcement concerning Rodgers' MVP vote.

Whether Packers star Aaron Rodgers takes home the NFL MVP award or not, people will circle back and remember Bears reporter Hub Arkush's viral moment.
