The Green Bay Packers made news earlier this offseason by hiring Matt LaFleur as their new head coach. Now they are making news with the team raising ticket prices for a second consecutive season.
This news comes from Rob Demovsky of ESPN. The ticket increase is expected to be an increase of $1-$6 per seat at each game.
The Packers have failed to reach the playoffs for two straight years. This may be a slight reason why the Packers have raised their ticket prices. They haven't been able to bring in any extra revenue during the postseason.
Their postseason drought comes as a surprise with the fact that they have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL in Aaron Rodgers. The team around him has been depleted though due to injuries or guys just leaving.

They have brought in LaFleur to be their guy, coming from the Tennessee Titans. He was the Titans' offensive coordinator in 2018.
Ultimately, everyone knows him from when he was the offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams in 2017 under Sean McVay. Those who breathe the same air as McVay are becoming candidates for a head coaching gig in the NFL.
Hopefully, with a new regime, the Packers can get back to the playoffs. The fans at Lambeau Field won't be too pleased to keep paying more to watch their beloved team lose every year.
