Green Bay Packers rookie running back AJ Dillon caught the attention of everyone on the first day of training camps.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has also mentored another hulking ball carrier in Tennessee Titans' Derrick Henry, where he served as an offensive coordinator back then. Nonetheless, he still raved about the team's 2020 second-round pick:

“He has got some massive legs,” he said. “That's something we talked about with our staff, we have not seen a running back built like that — not in my career, that I've been around.”

ESPN NFL Nation Packers reporter Rob Demovsky tweeted a picture to show Dillon's massive build:

Dillon recently concluded a three-year run in Boston College where he amassed a total of 4,382 rushing yards on 845 attempts and 38 scored touchdowns. He was also an ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year, a three-time first-team All-ACC member, and an AP third-team All-American member.

He was then drafted by the Packers with the 62nd pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Dillon is set to enter a running back room consisting of RB1 Aaron Jones, third-year player Jamaal Williams, and journeyman Tyler Ervin.

With a shallow depth on the team's wide receiver rotation, the Packers can look into utilizing the running game more with the addition of Dillon. The potential combination of Jones and Dillon may very well be the offensive weapon that the Packers are long searching for.

The rookie and the rest of the team will be aiming to book a trip back to the Super Bowl stage after narrowly missing out on an appearance last season.
