Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur finally spoke regarding their tough loss in the NFC Championship Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. LaFleur bared that Aaron Rodgers was disappointed with the outcome of the all-important tilt but insisted that there is excitement moving forward for the team, per Ryan Wood.

The Packers were initially seen as the favorites to represent the NFC in Super Bowl 55, especially after Rodgers emerged as one of the frontrunners for this season's MVP honors. However, they faced tough competition in the NFC Championship Game as they crossed paths with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers.
Article Continues BelowIt was also the first time in Aaron Rodgers' career that a conference title game was held at Lambeau Field. During the game, the Packers spent most of their time playing catch up to the Buccaneers who always seemed a step ahead of them.
LaFleur also had a couple of questionable plays on both ends of the field which ultimately cost his team the much-needed victory. The Packers eventually ran out of time in the fourth quarter as they succumbed to a 31-26 defeat to the Buccaneers.
Despite falling short of their ultimate goal, Aaron Rodgers proved to everyone that he is still the clear QB1 of the Packers for the foreseeable future. The Packers will just have to do a better job of improving their roster as they aim to take care of their unfinished business next season.
