Betonline.Ag has set the Green Bay Packers win total for the 2020 season at 9.5, according to Chris Burke of the Athletic.

The Packers finished the 2019 season with 12 regular-season wins, so Betonline seems some regression. The Minnesota Vikings win total is also set at 9.5 followed by the Chicago Bears at 8 and Detroit Lions at 8.

Coming into the 2019 season there were a lot of question marks surrounding the Packers, but they exceeded expectations. Packers team president Mark Murphy admitted he was a bit surprised with the success.

“Yeah, honestly, I was a little surprised,” Murphy said, via Rob Reischel of Forbes. “I was hopeful and I thought [LaFleur] would do well. But, obviously, you look back through the history of the Packers, no other first-year head coach had the kind of success that he did. So that obviously speaks well of him. Obviously with our history, when you do something that’s never been done it speaks pretty well of what you’ve accomplished.”

The good news for the Packers is Matt LaFleur and Aaron Rodgers will be back and they are going to be the key to the team exceeding the 9.5 win total.

“I think Matt deserves a lot of credit for the way that we performed week in and week out,” Rodgers said via the Packers team website. “He would set the vision every week – very simple messaging. With his leadership and empowering guys the way that he did, and with Brian adding pieces … I said it last week, the window is open for us.”

The expecations are high now, will the Packers live up to them?
