Is it hard to make judgments of the Green Bay Packers early on. Matt LaFleur is undefeated so far as a head coach, but he is hard to predict. He seems determined to give Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams an equal opportunity. For Fantasy Football owners, this is frustrating because Jones is clearly the better runner and it is time to stop messing around.

Williams is a player that the Packers feel good about, but Jones should be getting a bulk of the carries. In Week 2, Jones had 116 yards and a touchdown. He was held in check against a strong Denver Broncos' defense, but he was able to get in the end zone twice. Jones has three touchdowns over the last two games, so it is clear that he is the goal line back for Green Bay.

The Packers face a tough matchup against the Eagles, but he could be the first runner to figure out the Birds.

Jones Prepares for the Eagles

The Eagles have surrendered just 57 rushing yards per game and one rushing touchdown in three games. What the Eagles have done is give up the big play. Whether it is a long touchdown or a kickoff return, the Eagles are vulnerable.

LaFleur was brought to Green Bay because he was thought to be the next great offensive mind in the league. With Aaron Rodgers under center, the offense is dangerous enough, but they must get Jones involved. Getting the run game going sets up play action, which is one of the strengths of Rodgers' game. It delays the pass rush and keeps the defense guessing.

This is a primetime game on Thursday night. The Packers are looking to improve to 4-0 and really get their offense going. The Packers split carries in their previous game, but this game could be one where they ride the hot hand. Rodgers is a fan of Jones and will look to get him involved in the passing game as well.

Jones' ability to get in the end zone makes him a week-to-week option in fantasy. When Green Bay gets near the goal line, Jones will be in the game. The Eagles are tough against the run, but the Packers can show different looks to keep them on their toes and get Jones in space.

Expect to see the Packers get Jones going early. He may not end up rushing for 100 yards, but it would be reasonable to expect around 75 yards on the ground, a touchdown, and some work in the passing game as well.
