The Las Vegas Raiders have made massive improvements to the roster after falling short in the playoffs last season. With Davante Adams in the receiver room, this offense has come to life as a legitimate threat. Even so, there are still some holes on the roster, in particular the offensive line. We take a look at some of our bold Raiders predictions for the 2022 NFL Draft.

We'll see how the NFL Draft plays out for Las Vegas as they don't have the best draft capital after trading for Davante Adams. Regardless, the Raiders still have enough picks to reel in some legitimate depth to the roster. We might see this team make a surprise selection, but it depends on how the board falls come draft weekend.

Look for the Raiders to possibly acquire a rookie running back at some point to challenge for a backup role on the offense. Additionally, Las Vegas must reel in some talent to boost the front seven. At the end of the day, the main priority will be the offensive line to protect Derek Carr.

With that said, here are three bold Raiders predictions for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Raiders Predictions for the 2022 NFL Draft

3. Las Vegas selects a prospect running back to relieve Josh Jacobs

Josh Jacobs will be the starting running back in 2022. However, the backup role is highly questionable. Kenyan Drake didn't live up to expectations and nobody else on the roster seems capable of handling a legitimate workload. For that reason, the Raiders should consider taking a rookie running back in the NFL Draft.

It'll be interesting to see who will be available in the third round or later, as that is when the Raiders have all of their picks. Considering Josh McDaniels stems from Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, having a running back committee might be the future of Las Vegas. Keep an eye on this team, as they could make a surprising selection come draft weekend.

2. The front office acquires depth for the front seven

The Raiders could use some depth within the defensive line and linebacking core. Luckily for them, the front office can select some young talent to fill the void. Vegas doesn't necessarily need starters, however, as long as the franchise selects the right prospects, the defense can improve down the road.

Considering the Raiders don't pick until round three it's hard to imagine they find immediate help from their batch of rookies. Regardless, the front seven is an area of concern for this defense. Look for Las Vegas to reel in some defensive talent to add some necessary depth to that unit.

1. Raiders take multiple offensive linemen in the NFL Draft

The offensive line is going to be a liability for the Raiders so it's important for the front office to find some prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft. Las Vegas could use help within the interior as well as the exterior. For that reason, we should see this team acquire multiple rookies to add some competition within the trenches.

Las Vegas might want to consider trading up at some point as well. The Raiders have a solid roster but it could all be for naught if the offensive line can't protect Derek Carr. We'll see how it plays out, but now is the time for this franchise to build a competent line to keep the offense competitive. If they can do that, then watch out for this team in 2022.
