Las Vegas Raiders fullback Alec Ingold is one tough fellow. Testament to this fact is how the 24-year-old reportedly intends to suit up for the Raiders' Week 10 matchup against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, despite the fact that he recently sustained two broken ribs. As it turns out, this has caused some concern for Las Vegas.
This report comes via NFL.com's Ian Rapoport:
#Raiders FB Alec Ingold, one of the NFL’s best at his position and the personal bodyguard to star RB Josh Jacobs, suffered two fractured ribs on Sunday, source said… but he somehow plans to play through the injury this week vs the #Broncos. 🤷🏽♂️

Ingold sustained the injury on Sunday, as the Raiders secured a 31-26 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. L.A.'s defensive linesman Jerry Tillery and the full weight of his 295-pound frame tripped over, as his knee landed squarely on Ingold's ribs. Ingold was forced to exit the game and was brought to a local hospital, where he was diagnosed with the broken ribs.

Las Vegas head coach Jon Gruden said on Monday that the team was “concerned” about Ingold's situation (h/t Levi Damien of USA TODAY SPORTS), but clearly, he's recovered enough to be able to suit up for the Raiders.
While this is a welcome development for Las Vegas, there is always a fear of Ingram aggravating the injury. Then again, the Raiders' medical team has undoubtedly weighed in on Ingold's status, and they wouldn't have allowed him to take the field if the risk was too great.
The 5-3 Raiders are coming off two consecutive victories, as they hope to make it three straight against the Broncos.
