The Oakland Raiders quickly became one of the most active teams from around the league early on this offseason. With the AFC West franchise most notably adding All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown by way of the Pittsburgh Steelers, it appears as though the Raiders are far from done with the team recently working out yet another veteran running back.

According to a recent report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, the Raiders are working out former Indianapolis Colts running back Robert Turbin.

The Seattle Seahawks initially selected the 29-year-old running back in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Utah State. Remaining in Seattle for his first three NFL seasons, Turbin then spent one go-round split between the Cleveland Browns and Dallas Cowboys in 2015-16. Turbin then spent three seasons in Indianapolis with the aforementioned Colts.

It is also worth noting that the Raiders currently own a ton of 2019 NFL Draft capital as well. Thanks to the team's dismal 2018-19 campaign, the Raiders are now primed to encounter a memorable 2019 NFL Draft come next month in Nashville. With the addition of Brown — among several other notable players — the Raiders immediately become contenders in the AFC West division while the team's current draft situation only furthers such a notion.

However, the surging Kansas City Chiefs and always dangerous Los Angeles Chargers certainly aren't going anywhere while the Raiders will be forced to square off against their divisional foes a total of four times in 2019. Both the Chiefs and Chargers are coming off postseason appearances.
