The Las Vegas Raiders have been rumored as a potential destination for Tom Brady, but Raiders fans shouldn't get too excited.
According to Tom Curran of NBC Sports Boston, Las Vegas will not aggressively pursue Brady in free agency. Curran notes that the Raiders won't “cold-shoulder” Brady if he reaches out, but he isn't a top priority for them.
This definitely makes sense, as Brady is 42 years old (he will be 43 at the start of the regular season) and Las Vegas is a rebuilding club.
Plus, while there has been some trade chatter surrounding Derek Carr and the Raiders have not ruled out the possibility of moving him, Las Vegas seems fairly comfortable with heading into 2020 with Carr under center.

Of course, that can change in free agency, but if Las Vegas has to commit a large sum of money to Brady, it would limit how much the team can spend on new receivers.
The Raiders' receiving corps currently includes Tyrell Williams, Hunter Renfrow, and not a whole lot else. There is tight end Darren Waller, who had a breakout campaign in 2019, but Las Vegas is severely lacking at wide out.
Brady is coming off of a season in which he threw for 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns, and eight interceptions while completing 60.8 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 88. It marked the first time Brady did not make the Pro Bowl since 2008, when he was knocked out for the season in Week 1 due to a torn ACL.
