The Los Angeles Chargers have made big moves this offseason in the hopes to improve. After falling short of the playoffs last year, the franchise aims for a better ending in 2022. With a ton of talent on the roster, things are looking up in LA. With that in mind, it sounds like the defense is going to get a major boost from defensive end Joey Bosa after taking a different approach for this season.

According to Pro Football Talk, Bosa is changing his mind frame completely. Apparently, the Chargers star has multiple hobbies he keeps himself busy with. However, he is now in the middle of moving his attention away from those hobbies to strictly focus on football. He states:

“Honestly, I've kind of come to the conclusion that I don't really care. Football is my No. 1 and pretty much only priority. I don't need to fill my time with all these sorts of things whether it's going to the beach or doing all these… I was trying to fill my time with these hobbies, but it would affect my performance which, in turn, would affect my well-being, my mental well-being.” –  Chargers star Joey Bosa.

To hear Joey Bosa make this claim, that he feels he wasn't 100 percent focused on football is wild. Only because the Chargers star had a monster season last year. He ended the year with 51 total tackles (five for a loss), 10.5 sacks, and seven forced fumbles. With Khalil Mack on the other side of the defensive line, the Chargers are shaping up to have one of the best pass rushes in the league.

Keep an eye on Joey Bosa, as a more focused, determined, and motivated version of him could yield spectacular results for the Chargers. If that's the case, Los Angeles will be a real problem for the rest of the AFC.
