Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson revealed a six-man list of his favorite teammates from his long tenure with the Los Angeles Chargers (formerly San Diego).

As part of a series for the NFL Network, Tomlinson named the top players he played with and ranked them.

At No.5, Tomlinson has Rodney Harrison and Lorenzo Neal tied.

L.T. and Harrison played only together for two seasons from 2001 to 2002, as the latter was eventually released by the Chargers. Harrison was a phenomenal leader who knew exactly how to communicate and push his team in the right direction. According to Tomlinson, he was always “present,” which was one of his most admirable qualities.

As for Neal, Tomlinson played with him for five seasons with the Chargers. L.T. saw Neal as his personal protector who sacrificed his body so others like himself could benefit.

At fourth is Philip Rivers, whom Tomlinson said is as great “as advertised.” Rivers spent a lot of quality time getting to know his teammates and connecting with people — an excellent quality of a leader according to the now retired NFL star.

Antonio Gates is at No.3 for Tomlinson, noting that they consider themselves as each other's sidekick. They needed each other to be successful and complemented each other on a daily basis.

Drew Brees is the next in line for L.T. at No.2. Brees came into the league alongside the legendary running back, so they shared a deeper bond. They became great friends throughout their storied careers.

At No.1 for Tomlinson is Junior Seau. According to the 41-year-old former NFL RB, he learned a lot from the two years he played with Seau — particularly in terms of being a leader and setting a standard for the team. Seau also handed Tomlinson the torch as the face of the Chargers franchise, which he took as a great honor for him.

Currently an analyst for the NFL Network, LaDainian Tomlinson shares his knowledge of the game on a regular basis.
