It is no secret that the Chargers always appear to find themselves in these close situations on almost a weekly basis, so it was only a matter of time before Rivers found himself on the wrong side of history. While this feat is a testament to his ability to keep the game close, it is also indicative of his failure to close out games.

Rivers' once again only has himself to blame after struggling to take care of the ball once again, however, Los Angeles still found a way to put themselves in a position to potentially secure the comeback in the final second before he threw his fourth interception of the evening. To make matters worse, it came during a pivotal matchup for control of the AFC West.

Given how the 2019 NFL season has gone, it is safe to assume that Rivers is not done adding to his total.
