The Los Angeles Rams would love to create a spectacle in their first home game at SoFi Stadium. Regardless of when the Rams open SoFi Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys are shaping up to be their first visitors.

Since the Rams made the move back to Los Angeles in 2016, they've been anxious to unveil a new stadium. Given the anticipation of their first home game, it would make sense that America's Team would be able their first road opponent.

After all, back when the Rams moved from St. Louis to Los Angeles, Jerry Jones was essential to making the relocation a reality. Due to his contributions, Jones said it himself in February that he'd love for the Cowboys to be the team to open SoFi Stadium versus Los Angeles.

However, due to the coronavirus, there is uncertainty surrounding the start of the NFL regular season. With the start of the season scheduled for September 10, the Rams only have a few more months to get the stadium completed.

Kevin Demoff, the Chief Operating Officer of the Rams, recently said that construction on SoFi Stadium could be delayed amid the coronavirus pandemic. In the event that the stadium's construction is put off, Demoff made it clear that the Rams could wait until next year to unveil SoFi Stadium.

To gather more business, the Rams want to make sure the timing is right before they open SoFi Stadium to the masses. When that takes place, Jones appears to be getting his wish to play Los Angeles.
