The Los Angeles Rams have officially touched down in Atlanta. With the NFC Champions' Super Bowl 53 clash with the New England Patriots now only one week away, the Rams have arrived at the site of this year's festivities.

“We've talked about this with the team, a lot of things you want to accomplish,” Rams head coach Sean McVay said, via NFL.com. “We talked about winning a division, we talked about getting the fist-round bye, winning a playoff game to get into the conference championship, winning the conference championship to get to the Super Bowl. “We've been checking things off and make no mistake about it. Got a lot of respect for the Patriots, but we're going there to get this last check!”

The Rams are now gearing up to participate in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in franchise history. Paving the way for the NFC West franchise's latest title game appearance, the Rams defeated both the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints — in controversial fashion in regards to the latter — to get to Super Bowl 53.

On the other hand, the Patriots defeated both the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs to become AFC Champions for the third consecutive season. After defeating the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl a few years back, the Patriots then came up short against the Philadelphia Eagles last year.

The Patriots and Rams have actually met in the Super Bowl before as well, with the New England winning the initial matchup back in 2002.
