Los Angeles Rams star defensive tackle Aaron Donald was recently seen on video benching almost 500 pounds. The perennial All-Pro is in the midst of contract negotiations which could keep him out of training camp for the second straight year, but he's clearly keeping in shape in preparation for the 2018 campaign.

Rams star running back Todd Gurley is also keeping in peak condition following arguably his best NFL season. Gurley was a legitimate NFL MVP candidate for his performance in 2017, but he is far from satisfied as he plans to take it to another level in 2018 while also going a little harder than Donald in the weight room.

TMZ Sports recently caught up with Gurley on the streets in Los Angeles and praised him for his bulked up look. Gurley was asked about Donald's video of him benching 495 pounds and he claims he topped that with 515 that very day.

If Gurley is telling the truth, that's quite an accomplishment and also a scary thought for teams that are scheduled to face the Rams during the 2018 NFL season. Gurley has also been an imposing physical force on the football field, but now could be that much tougher to stop coming out of the backfield for Los Angeles.

The Rams are expected to be legitimate Super Bowl title contenders next season with Gurley leading the way along with a reloaded squad that now includes Aqib Talib, Brandin Cooks, Marcus Peters, and Ndamukong Suh.

However, it remains to be seen how things will pan out with Donald's contract situation, but both sides have expressed optimism in getting a deal done.
