As the offseason for the Miami Dolphins moves along, wide-receiver drama ramps up. It's a current weapon squaring off against a classy retired wideout.

After Chris Chambers publicly criticized DeVante Parker, the current Fins weapon decided to make it extremely clear he could care less about what Chambers thinks about him, via his official Twitter account.

Other than the idea Parker tweeting about this doesn't help anything in his life, Chambers initial criticism did come out of the blue.

On May 25, Chambers opened up to the Miami Herald. He stated that he reached out to Parker in attempt to help the youngster but was rebuffed. The stinging quote allowing this face-off to take place is one that's harsh enough to create such a squabble.

“I don’t know if he fully gets what it means to be a pro,” Chambers said, via Barry Jackson of the Herald. “[Athleticism] and talent only last so long. Hard work, dedication and technique will take you a longer way when you add it on top of talent.”

Of course, Parker's actions prove he hasn't fully appreciated those comments.

Parker, 25, is the Dolphins 14th overall pick of the NFL Draft circa 2015. He's tallied 1,908 yards and eight touchdowns on 139 total grabs over the course of his first three seasons in the NFL. Playing 43 of a possible 48 games, Parker's remained relatively healthy.

Now that the possession man is out of town in Jarvis Landry, Parker's name on Miami's depth chart carries much more of a workload. Danny Amendola joins him while looking to replace Landry in the slot and underneath, but he's not that spry youngster Landry still is.

As it pertains to the Landry-Chambers battle royal, we shall see if the retired one keeps this thing alive with a response.
