The Minnesota Vikings suffered an injury scare during this week of practice when Adam Thielen fell to the ground. When the injury first occurred, the team originally thought that Thielen had ruptured his Achilles.

Luckily for the Vikings, Thielen was able to avoid sustaining a serious ailment. After leaving practice, it has been discovered that Thielen received a cut on his ankle that required him to get stitches.

The veteran pass-catcher has appeared on the team's injury report and has been listed as questionable. But with it being the playoffs, Thielen is adamant that he is going to do ‘whatever it takes' to suit up versus the San Francisco 49ers.

Earlier in the regular season, the Vikings' reliable wideout dealt with a nagging hamstring injury. As a result, Kirk Cousins' favorite target would be sidelined for six games in 2019.

Despite his injury, Thielen finished the season with 30 receptions for 418 yards and six touchdowns. Even though his regular-season numbers aren't ideal, he saved his best game for the postseason.

Last week, Thielen hauled in seven receptions for 129 yards to help defeat the New Orleans Saints on the road. His biggest catch of the game came in overtime when he corraled a 43-yard pass from Cousins. The 43-yard reception set the Vikings up at the Saints' two-yard line.

Just a few plays later, Kyle Rudolph was able to catch the game-winning touchdown to help Minnesota advance. For the second straight week, the Vikings are road underdogs as the road team.

Fortunately for them, they won't have to try and pull off the upset without Thielen on the field.
