The New England Patriots organization had some news emerge on Friday morning they would prefer to not have out, but owner Robert Kraft is now in the middle of a serious investigation. Kraft is facing charges of soliciting prostitution that came after a human trafficking sting by the police, and further reports suggest he is ‘not the biggest name involved' in the investigation.

Kraft's likely going to have an offseason he did not expect, but the matter is incredibly serious and his legacy with the Patriots is likely tarnished after these allegations. New England's offseason will likely be overshadowed by the investigation that could prove to be detrimental to the team, or at least to Kraft. Unfortunately for the Patriots, this is not the first time they have been under investigation or faced serious matters, but this is the most serious one.
Unlike previous allegations regarding the team, the fact that this situation does not involve football related activities is the reason why this one is not to be taken lightly in any instance. Kraft could be facing some very serious repercussions in his personal life.
The fact that Kraft is not the only one being investigated in this situation is a major cause for concern. While the other names have not yet been released, it's a matter of time before the investigations reach a new peak. The coming weeks could be detrimental for the Patriots owner and it'll definitely be worth keeping a watchful eye on the situation moving forward.
