It did not take much to convince running back Jeremy Hill to sign with the New England Patriots this offseason. New England's resume when it came showcasing potential workhorses speaks for itself.
Hill is coming off a disappointing 2017 campaign. However, according to Ryan Hannable of WEEI, he is confident about a potential comeback season with the Patriots:

Hill showed plenty of promise early on during his tenure with the Cincinnati Bengals. He burst onto the scene with a 1,00-yard campaign in his rookie season. Although he failed to mirror that production in the following two seasons, he still put up solid numbers before he was essentially replaced with running back Joe Mixon.
That said, it is encouraging to see how confident he is in a comeback with the Patriots. He is going to need to be optimistic considering how crowded their backfield is. New England has always relied on a committee in their offense and it is shaping up to be no different this season. However, Hill is the only back on the roster that has garnered at least one 1,000-yard season in his career. His versatile skill set as both a runner and receiver should help him etch out a solid role early on.
