It's been a trying season for New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski, but he finally got back on the field against the New York Jets and teammate Julian Edelman thought he looked like he was having a lot of fun.
“He’s ‘The Gronk.’ He looked like he was having fun, and that’s awesome,” noted receiver Julian Edelman via ESPN. “That’s what we want.”
Gronkowski caught a touchdown pass and did his signature spike while almost all of his teammates came over to celebrate the moment with him. Gronkowski wasn't limited at all during the game and was on the field for all about one snap. Not only did he have the touchdown pass he was also a key blocker on a couple of plays that the Patriots had big gains on.

The ankle and back injury has really taken a toll on him this year and there has been a lot of talk about what his future will hold. He has made it clear that he only wants to play with Brady and the Patriots but there have also been grumblings that maybe retirement could at least be considered after this year. Right now the focus is on this season as the Patriots sit with an 8-3 record and will try to make it back to the Super Bowl this year.
