Tedy Bruschi will always be remembered as a legend for the New England Patriots. His health has been an issue for years, with that being part of the reason he retired in 2008.
Earlier this week, Bruschi suffered a stroke but is now at his home recovering with his family. Plenty of people sent their well-wishes to the former Patriots linebacker with Julian Edelman sending his own message to Bruschi.
The Patriots veteran wide receiver took to Instagram to post a picture telling Bruschi to “stay strong”.

This is the second stroke that Bruschi has suffered, with the first one coming in 2005—just days after winning a Super Bowl in 2005. His first stroke caused him to miss a few games but he came back stronger than ever.
During his playing career, Bruschi helped the Patriots win three Super Bowls and won the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year after courageously playing football just months after suffering his first stroke. His courage and toughness resonated throughout the world.
In retirement, Bruschi has become an NFL analyst on ESPN and can be seen on shows like NFL Live and even Sportscenter from time to time. The former Patriots legend still spends time in New England and has charities that still run in the Boston area.
Edelman knows what Bruschi means to New England and didn't hesitate to let Bruschi know to continue fighting. Although Edelman isn't the only one rooting for a speedy recovery for Bruschi—the whole world is. Keep on fighting Tedy, the whole world has your back.
