The New England Patriots have done it again, winning yet another title on Sunday evening in Atlanta. With the Patriots defeating the upstart Los Angeles Rams, 13-3, this time around, the heralded AFC East franchise is now White House bound for the second time in the last three seasons.
However, despite the Patriots now winning three of the last five Super Bowls, it appears as though a litany of New England players will be skipping out in this year's trip to our nation's capital. While President Donald Trump has yet to formally invite the Super Bowl Champion Patriots to the White House, the turn out will certainly not be so great if an invitation is eventually extended.
“Nah,” Patriots defensive back Duron Harmon recently told TMZ. “They don’t want me in the White House.”
It was already revealed on Monday that the McCourty Twins, Devin and Jason, won't be in attendance, either.

It is also worth noting that Trump has already had a run-in with the NBA's Golden State Warriors, who did not make their way to the White House upon winning another title last season.
“It’s typical of him,” NBA superstar LeBron James said of Trump back in June 2018, via People.com. “I’m not surprised. I mean, no matter who wins this series, no one wants the invite anyway.”
One can surely gather that this trio of Patriots won't be the only players to make a point to be elsewhere that day.
